I took a blog break during the week I was down with a cold. It was great. Okay let me clarify. I took a blog posting break, but I was still drafting ideas and now that my blog is up and running 6 weeks strong my brain won't cut off. Everything is a possible post. Needless to say I have many drafts.

That week off though gave me a chance to look at Tailor Made and see that I wasn't staying true to the purpose of the site. My readers enjoy the content but I know the posts aren't going in the direction that I would like.

I guess it wasn't hard not to get back in the groove because Tailor Made brings me quite a bit of enjoyment. Maybe my array of categories allows me the freedom to be me. I don't know. Plus, I didn't want the few readers that i do have to fall off if I'm gone too long, you know. Consistency is the only way to stay in the public's eye (if that's where you want to be) without overkill.

by the way, Merry Christmas!

We we are certainly glad you're feeling better and back at the keyboard!

I have to admit, I've had those times where the time away from the keyboard made it pretty hard to get back at it. There is just something to be said for maintaining a rhythm and when you take a break, by choice or by necessity, it takes an intentional effort to get back on track... at least it does for me.

Glad you're back and looking forward to some of those posts!
