Free parking – all visitors will Park & Ride from Regions Park off of Hwy 150 (see directions below)
“Celebrating Nature, Open Spaces & Eco-Ideas through Art & Design.”
Artist Row – will primarily feature, but is not limited to, artists whose artword depicts or is influenced by nature and/or made from recycled or natural materials.
etc. spaces – Architects, artists, designers and landscape architects will inspire us about the use, design and conservation of outdoor space while competing for $10,000 in award money.
WonderKid Studios – Interactive art workshops for kids using the observation of nature as a launching point for creative projects.
Eco-Ideas – Sustainability, great design, and “green living” are the focus at Eco-Ideas. This outdoor district will serve as an informative and cool connection to various eco-friendly living ideas, products, businesses & organizations making strides in the green movement.
Nature – Enjoy nature and the 250 Moss Rock Preserve through leisurely guided hikes led by Friends of Moss Rock Preserve. Also participate in a fun geo-location experience using GPS technology with the Alabama Geocachers Association.
Nature Cakes – View and sample the artistic and baking talents of top cake designers, bakers & specialists. Tasting tickets are 2 for $1 and will be available for purchase at the Info Center or the Town Hall cake exhibition site.
Eats & Entertainment – The Crescent Stage will be spotlighting live music. Highly recommended is a trip to the “Cafe by the Woods,” serving great food, wine, bear, coffee, treats & more.
DIRECTIONS FROM DECATUR
Take I‐65 South
Merge onto I‐459 S via EXIT 250 toward Hoover/Tuscaloosa
Take the AL‐150 exit/EXIT 10‐ toward Hoover/Bessemer
Turn left at light and go under I‐459 overpass.
At the 3rd traffic light turn right onto Stadium Trace Parkway.
Follow Stadium Trace Parkway for about 2‐3 miles to parking at Regions Park.
Follow signs.
